We provide insurance and delivery & signature confirmation on all packages.
You have 3 days (72 hrs.) after you sign for delivery of your gown to try it on, and make your final decision.
When your package arrives: Do not try on the dress when smoking, eating, or wearing perfume, deodorant, or makeup. Be sure you are in a clean space, free of any pet hair. Do not try to force yourself into the dress if it is too small, as the seams may split or tear. If your dress has netting or lace, be careful of any sharp rings or fingernails that could snag the fabric.
Is it wonderful? We hope so. Take the time before ordering to check the dress measurements and your own to ensure a good fit. Remember to try it on with your shapewear and/or crinoline if you plan on wearing these on the big day. Now is the time to ask your seamstress if they are able to make any necessary alterations or repairs.
If it just isn’t right for you and you want a refund, then we ask that you replace the dress in the original packaging and ship it back via USPS to The Vintage Bride, P.O. Box 221, Trinidad, CA 95570. Insure the gown for the purchase price, and pay for delivery confirmation for its return to us. Failure to purchase delivery confirmation will void your refund. Send us an email so that we can expect the returned package.
If all is in order after we receive the dress we will issue a refund within 5 days using the same method as your payment, less a $30.00 restocking fee. We do not reimburse for postage. If we find that the dress was not shipped back within 72 hours, or it was shipped back without insurance and delivery confirmation, or if it is not in the same condition we sent it to you, then the return will be rejected. We will notify you by email. At this point you may choose to pay for us to ship the dress back to you for you to keep.
In the event of damage during shipment to you, advise us within 24 hours so that we may arrange for return shipping back to us, a refund for you, and an insurance claim. If a dress is damaged during return to us we will notify you so that you can make your own insurance claim.
If you do not pick up your order from the post office and it sits until they return it back to us it's NOT considered a return. This ties up the stock for people who really want or need it.
We are not responsible for lost items that are left with no signature or insurance.
Please understand that the short turn-around time is deliberate and we will not make exceptions to this policy. Failure to mail your gown for return within 72 hours of receipt (weekends & holidays included) will void the refund and the gown will be returned to you at your cost.
Shipping:
Orders will be processed within two working days.
We provide free parcel post shipping via the US Post Office for domestic orders. We insure for the price paid for the gown, and we purchase delivery and signature confirmation. Items will be shipped in the most efficient and safe method. This may mean your purchases will arrive all in one box, or in more than one box as required.
Why Parcel Post? While the large boxes we pack our dresses in make for a less wrinkled gown and a prettier presentation, they also incur hefty shipping fees. If we ship priority or express mail, these charges vary immensely, depending on what zone you are in and which box the dress is packaged in. If you just can't wait though, we have options...
Expedited Shipping: If you need your dress faster, we can arrange for that at an additional charge. Please email us with your phone number so that we may tell you the exact shipping charges. For most zones and packages it is about $65.00 for Express Mail.
International Shipping:To place an order for shipment to a country outside of the USA, please place your order as a normal order and make payment via Visa/Mastercard or Paypal. When we receive your order, we will email you with an exact international priority shipping cost and we will email you a Paypal request for the additional shipping charge. Please be aware that additional taxes/duties may be applied on delivery.
Privacy Policy:
The information you give us is only used to process your order and to insure a safe delivery. We will email you with order confirmation, but we will not add you to a newsletter, sell your email address, or share any of your personal information with others.
